Christmas was so fun this year. Sadly this is the only picture i have right now. We noticed people seemed especially giving this year, and that was a huge blessing for us. Holidays are hard in general, and have been even more so with out my mom. This year we were alot more in the Christmas spirit than we have been for a few years. I felt like we were more focused on the true meaning of Christmas, and making the holiday very family focused. It also made this year a bit more fun because both kids were old enough to be excited. Thanks to everyone that made Christmas special this year. :)
Thanksgiving was AWESOME! We went to my brother's house with all of my family. If my mom would have been there i would say it was the best thanksgiving EVER! Either way it was still really great, and just what we needed...

Thanksgiving is not thanksgiving of course, without a turkey. This year we had a Baked turkey and a fried turkey! They were both great, and it was fun to have my first fried turkey.

We had tons of food of course! But it wouldn't be a family gathering without a cheese ball!

The food was great, but what made Thanksgiving so wonderful this year was the activities and the company! We were all in need of a really good time, and i think this was just the ticket. We played games, made treats, had music, pulled out sleds, had snowball fights, a bit of black Friday shopping, some snow angels, and threw in some clay pigeon shooting...

Of course when i say sledding, I'm mean country style. The boys hooked a rope to the hitch and we went sledding down the icy country road, single file. Later leading to tournaments between the men...of sled jumping and "who can stay on the longest"

Demetri never wanted it to end, but Naomi was ready to be done pretty fast.

We had a blast over all. The only down fall to the perfectly massive amount of snow was that poor ivory had to be outside for 5 days in -12 degree weather, before she got her winter coat...sorry girl.

We survived the CHICKEN POX!

We don't have any fun pictures of the kids on Halloween, because we miss all the festive fun. My little babies were hit hard by the chicken pox. :(
These kids sure were little troopers. They were miserable, but still managed to be happy and have fun. They made things easy on me, because they were very understanding and cooperative. I was very proud of them.

One of the days Naomi was having a hard time and not feeling well, we did a little beauty parlor to help get her mind off of her discomfort. And Demetri cheered her up with a bit of peek a Boo
It wasn't terrible but it definitely wasn't fun, we are all glad to have that behind up. And better luck next year with Halloween.
Our little munchkins both seem SO big to us lately. You are always warned that they grow up fast...and even keeping that in mind we are still STUNNED that they are acting all grown up these days! Demetri Is all potty trained and Naomi is not far behind. They have such important things to talk about, and love to ask tons of questions....And Demetri, as always, is such a good little helper. It is really important to him that we let him do things on his own! He insists on putting his own clothes on, making his own sandwich, pouring his own drinks. It so cute to me that he is becoming all independent.
These two are pretty much connected at the hip, and are always having a bunch of fun. I especially like the random jammies and Naomi's choice of demetri's snow boots. The girl wears shoes ALL day long, and she just trades shoes every 15 minutes.

Jake is all suited up in his scrubs. He is so great about spending time with the kids even while he is doing other things. I caught him making a phone call while Naomi was laying on his sholder. They were both good sports and smiled for the camera. Love you guys.

I dont know what it is about right before bed?... But my kids get all wound up and play wild just before bed. Luckily it wears them out and they sleep really well. This particular night it was tag and summersalts.
lol Both my kids pull the craziest faces!

As we all can see, this is going to lead to a few bumps and bruses! I caught this picture of both of them about to flip, just before they crashed into eachother lol. They take turns doing flips now. Nevertheless...i love upside down/bumb shot.
I just had to post this picture to show my silly husband. After ironing his shirt he noticed a wrinkle still on the front, and this was his plan to take care of it lol. It actually worked well, but it just cracks me up!
