Puppy Party!

This sweet girl's family lost their home, and are in the middle of moving out of state following work. She is an all white, purebred, AKC certified German Shepherd! :) She was about ready to pop any day, so they needed someone to take care of her while she delivered and raised her puppies til 8week of age. Then they would be settled in their new place and could bring her home. I (being the crazy dog lover i am) thought it would be so stinkin' fun! So after they talked with me and thought I'd take good care of them, they sent her to our house!? The morning after we got her home, she went into labor...

Now we have these ADORABLE little fuzz balls. We are loving playing with them and watching them grow like crazy! We love Ivory, the mother, and are so glad we did this. Ivory is an awesome dog. She is sweet with the kids, protective of strangers, and the BEST jogging partner in the world! We sure are going to miss her when she goes home. BUT we are so happy to have her and her pups with us.

Their little eyes opened this Sunday. They all have such different personalities and we are already so attached!

Naomi is as girly as ever. She goes after the make up any chance she gets, and she goes for the good stuff. RED. Lol when i caught this little beauty Queen in the ACT, she replied with a smile and said "pretty".

These two cuties do everything together. They are becoming quit good little Friends. Demetri cant stand it when Naomi takes a nap, and regularly asks if he can go play by her. They also have discovered they can do more things together than they can alone. They pull each other over, under, through, and across things and hold hands when they are just walking down the hall. It makes me wish i had siblings closer in age when i was younger. I sure love my kids!

We are huge fans of play dough! We bust it out all the time, and the kids can be creative for hours. Both of them are much happier now that Naomi has stopped trying to eat it.

It never fails when daddy gets home; that a bit of rough housing occurs. No matter how it starts, it usually ends up being a huge pile of blankets, pillows, toys, and giggles in the family room. Daddy is the funnest tickle monster EVER!

Naomi has been looking and acting so big lately. She is talking much more, and is our little angel. These pictures are one of the rare occasions when she let my do her hair and it stayed in for more than 3 seconds. hopefully she'll come around, so the scruffy hair in her face can stop...but this little girl LOVES dresses.

My handsome devil seems like a giant to us. I cant believe how fast he has grown up. He is such a good helper and, as always, a good boy. He is such a great big brother and always looking out for his sister. Lately we are on a reading bender. He was begging to read...so now he knows all of his letters and is starting to sound out words. I'm proud of him in so many ways.

And most nights end with some Cape-Flyin' adventures before bed.

Demetri turned 4! I cant believe my baby boy is growing into such a little man. We had a simple party, with cake and all. Sadly our camera was acting up and so the cake and candle pictures were taken on our phones, but didn't turn out all that great. For his birthday we got Him his first little bike! He was so excited. We also thought, due to his tendency of getting hurt, that we would make sure he was all suited up for some crazy bike riding. He rides it really well, but he has crashed twice. One of his falls, he got going too fast for me to keep up and then scared himself. When he fell he was fine, but he bonked his hip on his way down. He told me "gosh mom, i need bum pads!"

Cairo Is all grown up now! Its about time. lol He had definatly became part of the family and even though Jake says he's a "sissy dog"...he cant resist loving him too. The tiny little ball of fluff we brought home 18 months ago is now our curly little pal. The kids love him so much and even when he is being treated like a pillow or a pony, he is always sweet & loves the attention. I love this little guy.

This summer, Jake and Demetri had a father-son trip to Rio Tinto stadium to watch a REAL game. Demetri talked about it for weeks! It was so sweet of jake to take the little guy. It was a pretty cold day, but they had a good time. Demetri got this cute picture with Lio. He was all about lions for months, but was a little unsure if lio was nice.

Clear back in April, Naomi turned 1. Im so behind, but i still wanted to post these cute little pictures. She was so happy all day, and Demetri was super sweet about maker this Naomi's special day :)
