To just start at the beginning...I had planned on doing my biggest (and i was hoping, most productive) garden yet! I got tons of useful tips and tricks from many close friends and relatives... so i attempted. I started my own plants from seeds for my very first time :) and it looked like i had the greenest thumb ever!
This picture above is of my cute little pepper plants, i loved the smell of them and they seemed to be thriving. My first picture of this post and the pic. below are of my bean stalks! They were so much fun ....again, everything was going wonderful.

The good news is we were very successful growing our own seeds and my little ones loved to see them grow and talk about them. After a lot of preparation, and 8 weeks of little plants in every well lit nook i could find...i ended up growing over 200 plants!
The BAD news. after i got my first job since we've been married, the long winter that kept unexpectedly snowing well into the month of may, and then followed by the week of 75-90 degree weather; two days after it snowed AND the weeds that suddenly bombarded my yard overnight....i slowly cared for, fussed with and then one by one lost every. single. one.
Gosh! it has been discouraging. But i remain hopeful. Because I've learned even more for next year. I know that i can for sure start my plants indoors. I still have 75% of my seed i didn't use yet...And there is still a fall crop that can be planted. Nevertheless, I'm sad about my little plants :(
