At the beginning of this month, Jake and i Celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary! I cant believe that we've already been married that long! We decided to bust out and go rock climbing for our anniversary?! We both have always planned on rock climbing together but have never made any efforts towards it, so now we have :) It was such a blast and we plan on getting pretty into it this summer. We went to Momentum Climbing Gym in Sandy. They were all very nice, both the people there climbing and the instructors. They showed us what to do and sent us on our way! We both enjoyed it and we climbed for 4 hours straight. We got all suited up and ready, we were so excited!

Jake of course has MORE than enough upper body strength for this to be fun for him. Super-Husband! I'm not all that strong, so i have to learn technique and to use my legs to make up for it, i guess. Still, both of us did pretty good for our first time. The guy that belay certified us walked by while we were climbing and was pretty impressed, that made us fell good :) (maybe its just his job to say that lol)

Jake was smiling the ENTIRE time, he was so happy. We were both way tired, and swore but we didn't want to stop! I'm so glad we found something we both really enjoy doing together.

Jake was seriously slacking in the picture taking department! So i don't have any pictures of me climbing. :( But i really did climb a lot, cross my heart...
After our hands were on the verge of bleeding and the gym was about to close, we finally left. We went and had a delicious, calm dinner at the Olive Garden. We talked, laughed and enjoyed each others company; as we celebrated another great and VERY trying year...which we spent together with our wonderful children. I really love growing up each day with my very best friend...
I love you Jake.

We have made a few trips to the park lately...Its still bitter cold, but we're so excited for spring we thought...What the hay?! The first time we went just the four of us, and our puppies. The Next we took Demetris cousins, who were having a sleep over party with us! YAY! Both times were way fun, and we all had a pretty good time. :) Watch out, its a wet, muddy mess!

Naomi thought the dogs were funny, and was so cute all bundled up!

tired puppy legs...
Wee! Working on his Gymnastic skills, Wahoo
We really made a party out of our sleep over party! Its was tons of laughs and giggles the whole time. Kids sure know how to have fun, wish i still had that much energy!

Demetri has been way into play dough lately... and for the first few time he played with it, he always was making "cookies", or "pizza" and many other foods (which all looked the same and consisted of him making a ball and whacking it with his hands and toy hammer). I of course was very proud of his "cooking skills" and thought it was pretty cute what his mind came up with....

One morning he was at the table playing again. He started laughing and told me to come see his dinosaur. I was a little confused what he was talking about, but soon came around the corner to find him (smiling proudly) with his dinosaur. Now if he hadn't told me what it was, i totally would have guessed dinosaur, or maybe horse, but anywho we both were pretty proud! since then he has became pretty creative...
