Children are like sponges.

They absorb your knowledge,

They sap your strength,

They soak up your resources,

And drain your energy-

But with one BIG squeeze,
They give it all back!

Here are some new picture of our sweet girl. She is almost three weeks old now, and we are loving every second with her! She has made so many changes to our family already, but we are so happy to be a family of 4 and are getting in the swing of things. Naomi is doing great! We were shocked to find out at our two week check up that she has gone from her original weight of 7lbs 15 oz to a whopping 9lbs 5 oz !!! She is obviously growing well...

Naomi absolutely hated the bath, and would scream the entire time until she was out... yesterday something change..? She decided the warm water was really nice and then cried when i got her out! She already( at the ripe age of 2 weeks old) knows what she wants and has us wrapped around her finger. With that little face, how can we resist giving her everything she wants?

Demetri is going through a phase right now.. He has decided he doesn't like his clothes! lol no matter what i do or say, every time i turn around he has stripped down to his diaper. Hopefully he will grow out of this soon... other than that he seems to be doing great with all the shifts our family is making. He is a big help with little Naomi.

Last summer in transplanted tons of tulips from our back yard to the front... It obviously was successful because i have beautiful tulips popping up! I'm glad my hard work wasn't for nothing :)

Easter came and went so fast! Demetri enjoyed his 2nd Easter egg hunt of his little life at his Grandma's house this year.

She is HERE!!!

Naomi Camille Harris was born early April 6 2009! We are so happy she is here! Her and i are as healthy as can be and feeling great! Jake is such a proud daddy, he has been so sweet to our new little girl, and he never wants to put her down... And Demetri is getting use to the idea of our family expanding and is one of the best big brothers I've ever seen! This slide show above is a collection of the pictures we have of our first two days together. You can count on more darling picture to come soon!

Well Spring is almost here, Easter is on its way, and sadly no baby yet... My due date has come and gone, but any day now we should have our little bundle of joy to share the new season with us! :) Hope you all have a Happy Easter!
